Golf Mesquite Nevada is proud to provide you an opportunity to spend five days enjoying all the Virgin River Valley has to offer while competing in a first-class amateur golf championship. The 6th Annual Mesquite Amateur presented by the Mesquite Resort Association will be conducted May 25-29, 2009 and is open to all amateur golfers who have a current USGA (or equivalent Golf Association) handicap index as of the close of entries.

The tournament will consist of three days (May 25-29) of net stroke play with the top players from each flight advancing to the Championship round at the CasaBlanca Golf Course on Friday, May 30th. The overall champion will be crowned at the conclusion of play.

For the non-golfers who accompany you there will be activities everyday that highlight all that Southern Nevada and Utah have to offer. Activities in the past have included a poker tournament, a trip to Zion National Park and a wine tasting luncheon. These activities are not included in the player's entry fee.

While golf will be the main attraction during the day, golfers and their guests will be invited to nightly parties. An Awards Banquet will follow the third round and prizes awarded to the top-10 finishers in each flight. The top-4 players from each flight will advance to the Championship round on Friday. Following play and parties Las Vegas style gaming await you at the City's four Casino's.
